The HE1000se features a “window shade” grill that both protects the driver with its sturdy metallic material and allows ample space for sound waves to escape, resulting in both durability and sonic purity. 

Acoustically-invisible stealth magnets

While many open back headphones prevent sound waves from escaping with poorly designed drivers, the HE1000se utilizes a specially-shaped magnet which allows waves to pass through without generating interference. The result is a massive reduction in wave diffraction turbulence and far less distortion.
